Information we collect
Account information. Your email address (required to create an account and sign in) and an optional display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier — nothing else from your Google account.
Routine information you enter. The routines you add (name, kind, the amount one check-in represents, colour and any notes), the times and days you schedule them for, your check-in history (done / skipped / missed), and — if you turn on stock tracking — how much of an item you have left.
We only collect what you type into the app. We do not access your device's health records, fitness platforms, contacts, location, photos or microphone, and we do not read data from any other app.
What WellNest is not
WellNest is a routine tracker for everyday wellbeing — supplements, hydration, nutrition, movement, mindfulness, sleep and self-care. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and is not intended to manage any medical condition. It does not collect medical records, symptoms, diagnoses or data from medical devices. Speak to a qualified healthcare professional about any health concern.
How we use your information
- To show your routines, daily schedule, check-in history and reports.
- To send you local reminder notifications on your device.
- To authenticate you and keep your data in sync across sessions.
We use your information solely to provide the app's features. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We never sell your data.
Where your data is stored
Your account and routine data are stored with our backend provider, Supabase (PostgreSQL), protected by Row Level Security so that only you can read or write your own records. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Reminder schedules and your app preferences (such as theme and snooze duration) are also stored locally on your device.
Notifications
WellNest schedules local notifications on your device to remind you about the routines you have set up. These are generated on your device, not sent from a server. You can disable reminders at any time in Profile → Reminders, or in your device's system settings.
Data retention and deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account. This immediately removes your account, routines, schedules and check-in history from our backend and cannot be undone. You may also request deletion by emailing us at the address below. Children's privacy
WellNest is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
We rely on Supabase's managed infrastructure, per-user Row Level Security policies, and TLS encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
